Register entries and supervisory authority
As a sole proprietor we are not entered in the commercial register (Handelsregister). The activity is not a regulated profession within the meaning of § 5(1) no. 5 DDG, and no professional supervisory authority is therefore named.
About this offering
distribot.de is the information and support page for the distribot iPhone app. This website has no user account, no payment system and no sign-up of any kind.
The app itself is a habit app: you set a weekly posting goal, check off the posts you made, and a streak, a penguin and an igloo to furnish grow out of it. It has no distribot user account and no distribot server; everything it records stays on the device.
Version 1.0, the version in the App Store today, connects to no outside service and publishes nothing on your behalf. A planned version 1.1 is to add an optional connection that lets you publish to your own TikTok account from inside the app; it has not been released. What it would and would not do is set out in our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
Consumer dispute resolution (§ 36 VSBG)
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is therefore no longer referenced here.
Liability for content (§ 7(1) DDG)
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general law, pursuant to § 7(1) DDG. Pursuant to §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected; liability in that respect arises only from the point at which we become aware of a specific infringement. Upon becoming aware of any such infringement we will remove the content concerned immediately.
Liability for links (§ 7(2) DDG)
This site contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. We therefore cannot accept any liability for that content; responsibility lies at all times with the respective provider or operator of the linked pages. At the time of linking, the linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements and none were apparent. Permanent monitoring of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of an infringement; if we become aware of one, we will remove the link promptly.
